Supported Services#
The ability to connect to and transfer data over the ServiceFabric® network is referred to as a service or service combination. A service consists of at least two ports and a link between them. A data path may be created using a variety of ports and connections, which can then be combined to provide a multiple service possibilities. You may create services that are tailored to their requirements while coordinating their connectivity to these services utilizing the ServiceFabric® platform.
Connect to Cloud#
You can establish network access to the top cloud service providers (CSP) by utilizing cross connects to link their equipment to ServiceFabric® and a cloud provider. The graphic below shows layer 2 VLANs* as the method for creating service connections, even though ServiceFabric® also supports layer 3 connectivity through a virtual router (VR).

Connect to Self#
You may utilize ServiceFabric® to connect their geographically dispersed networks by using cross-connects to connect their equipment to the platform and then creating connection between those cross-connects. The service connection shown in the following figure is made using layer 2 VLANs, however ServiceFabric® also supports layer 3 connectivity through a virtual router. Regardless of the mechanism used, the service is referred to as Connect to Self, even if the ServiceFabric® portal's user interface does not do so.

Connect to Bare Metal#
Using a Link or Connection you can connect your port or virtual router to a bare metal server quickly.
