Routing Tables#

Routing Tables serve as a fundamental resource for verifying BGP sessions, routes, and their statuses. These tables present a comprehensive overview of all routes advertised by neighboring BGP peering sessions, alongside static routes and peering networks. Furthermore, they offer critical insights into network costs, protocols, and interface data.

In the routing tables, users should be able to view:

Online User Guide#

ServiceFabric introduces a web-based User Guide integrated into the Portal to improve knowledge sharing and user experience. Accessible both within the Portal and publicly, it allows non-ServiceFabric users to learn about ServiceFabric. This guide increases product visibility and helps users find information and navigate ServiceFabric products.

New Cloud Provider Options from Console Connect#

ServiceFabric now provides additional on-ramps for Azure and Google Cloud, expanding peering locations with these major public cloud services and broadening the ecosystem for applications and diverse configurations.

  • Connect to Azure ExpressRoute with up to 10 Gbps links in single or diverse circuits
  • Connect to Google Cloud with up to 10 Gbps links

System Logs#

ServiceFabric now offers the ability to search for and read operational data from your services. Adding to the recent release of the Activity Viewer feature, System Logs give the user access to more than just the orchestration data in a new tab. Operational includes items such as:

  • Operational state changes for ports and LAGs
  • Operational state changes for VXCs.
  • Operational state changes for VRs.
  • Other error states for SF products.
  • Virtual router errors.
  • Virtual router setting changes.
  • Virtual Router BGP errors.
  • VXC setting changes.
Use Case#

View Operational Logs When troubleshooting an issue with networking, it is helpful to have deeper insights into the states and statuses generated by ServiceFabric assets. When troubleshooting things like virtual router it is helpful to see errors for BGP or BFD statuses. Being able to search for events or status changes by name or type decreases the need for trouble tickets with the GCC.

Expanded Service Directory Functionality#

The following Service Directory improvements were made.

Filter Profiles by Country, Metro and Site#

Ability to filter in the Service Directory by Country, Metro, or specific Site, with multi-selection and filters combined. Filter is stored locally to facilitate navigation across profiles.

Click to Connect ready Profiles in the Service Directory are now reachable through the Link created experience, thus facilitating to user to quickly find and connect to partners using the most popular experience in the portal.

The Link Create UX has been redesigned to simplify link creation with improved visual elements and user experience. This redesign focuses on enhancing the overall functionality and accessibility of the link creation process. Users will find that the new interface is more intuitive, allowing for quicker navigation and easier access to the features they need.

Cloud Provider in the Service Directory#

The main public cloud providers are now listed in the Service Directory for quick link creation to clouds. This enhancement allows users to easily access and navigate through various cloud services, streamlining the process of finding the right resources for their needs.

Megaport Marketplace Profile in Service Directory#

To expand the offerings in the Service Directory, we now showcase selected profiles from Megaport's Marketplace. Users will have Click to Connect access to these profiles directly within the Service Directory interface.

ServiceFabric now allows promotions to be offered for Digital Internet links and connections.
