ServiceFabric® Portal – Creating Services#
Types of Service Elements#
Services are made up of service elements, chained together to create a solution. The following service element types are used by ServiceFabric®:
- Ports and Port Groups
- Links (Layer 2)
- Connections (Layer 3)
- Virtual Routers (required for Layer 3 connectivity)
- Bare Metal Servers
- Digital Internet
To create a complete service, you must have two end-points. These can be two ports located anywhere on our network. It can be a virtual router between two cloud onramps. It can be a layer 2 link between a port and a Bare Metal Server. It can be a link between your port and another ServiceFabric customer.
To begin, make sure that the required endpoints have been created.
