New Digital Internet Option - Burstable#
Customers now have a new way to order Digital Internet. Burstable Bandwidth billing allows a customer to select a speed for Internet that is not capped like Fixed Bandwidth. The customer is billed for that committed data rate but is allowed to burst above that speed for limited amounts of time without incurring additional costs. But if the customer uses an extended amount of bandwidth above their CDR, they are charged per Mbps of sustained bandwidth beyond this commitment.
ServiceFabric will bill this overage using the 95th percentile method. Customers who burst above their CDR for more than 5% of the month will be charged an additional amount.
Billing Dashboard#
The next phase of Billing Reports offers customers access to their billing reports via the UX. This allows customers to run reports showing the services they’ve bought without waiting for the next invoice to arrive.

- Review all current expenses on their account
- Easily compare orders and invoices side-by-side
- Track which users ordered specific services
- Display by currency
- Charts and reports
Returns the following:
- Resource ID
- Service Name
- Service Description
- Service Type (port, link etc.)
- Created by (email)
- Ordered date/time
- Time in Inventory
- Billing duration
- Price (MRC) (minus tax)
- End Price
- Promo code (if applicable)
Additional Release Items#
BGP Route Redistribution#
To better support bare metal servers, we’re adding a route redistribution option to the virtual router configuration. There is now a new button called Redistribute Connected Routes which will force the virtual router to redistribute routes to its neighbors.
